RANBOO

Information:

NAME: Ranboo_Beloved, or just Ranboo (_Beloved is his married name, okay.)

AGE: Equivalent to around 18 in human terms. His actual chronological age is unclear.

GENDER: He has no idea what gender is or means, but uses he/him pronouns, since that's what everyone uses for him.

SPECIES: Hybrid; he's a cross between an Enderman, and something unknown as of now.

VOICE: Probably deeper than you're expecting. A lot deeper.

PERSONALITY: Generally kind, gentle, and polite; forgetful; frequently anxious, has a tendency to catastrophise and overthink things; however, around those he knows well, or those he actively doesn't like, he can be snarky and even somewhat mean. He's generally a pacifist who avoids or attempts to diffuse conflicts, but he does have certain berserk buttons-- specifically, his family. If you threaten or even just deliberately inconvenience his husband or his son, he will not hesitate to go after you. He would literally lay down his life for the people he cares about.

Ranboo struggles with memory loss; even he doesn't know why, exactly, but he's unable to remember anything about where he came from or any family he might have. He also struggles to form new memories sometimes, though, if an event or person is especially emotionally intense, he seems to be able to remember them more clearly. He keeps a series of journals where he writes down important people and events to help himself remember them.

Ranboo is very much a people-pleaser, and if he thinks it will avoid conflict or keep you on his side, he's willing to lie or cover up the truth, even to those he's close to. Though he's generally averse to conflict and addressing his own feelings, if pushed far enough, he's capable of displaying quite a temper, though as of yet it's never actually escalated past him raising his voice. Many people consider him to be mild and docile; and, for the most part, this is pretty accurate. However, beneath his polite exterior, he's painfully bitter and angry over the way the world has treated himself and his friends, and even with himself for his own lack of control or willpower.

Ultimately, all he wants is peace; unfortunately, it seems like peace wants nothing to do with him.

IMPORTANT BIOLOGY NOTES:

Due to Ranboo's... unique biology, he's got a few little physical quirks that might not immediately be apparent-- the horns and fangs are the most normal thing about him, okay.

HEIGHT: Maybe not that strange, but he towers over most average humans at around 6'7". His skeleton is surprisingly slight considering how long it is, however; his bones are slim and frame is narrow, though it's somewhat hidden by the suit he often wears.

STRENGTH: ... despite how slim he is, however, he's shockingly physically strong, an aspect that doesn't get displayed very often, given his anxious and pacifistic nature. When he does decide to fight, however, his weapon of choice is an ax. And he is very, very efficient with it.

BLOOD: Due to his weird, seemingly unnaturally-mixed species, he bleeds two entirely different colors-- the parts of his body that are black in color bleed a vivid green, while the paper white parts of his body bleed a much more humanlike red. It's likely that he has two separate circulatory systems-- a duplication resulting from his odd composition.

WATER: When it comes into contact with his skin, water causes him wounds similar to a chemical burn; light rain or being splashed will be fairly mild, but if he lingers out in the rain for too long or is entirely submerged, it can cause severe injury and even death.

ENDERMAN TRAITS: While it's unclear what, if any, abilities his other half grants him, his Enderman heritage gives him a few unique attributes besides his inability to touch water. He can make unique vocalizations that most humans can't replicate naturally-- some of which can be heard here-- and he frequently does, particularly when distressed or in pain. When angered, or in a large amount of distress, he emits an electronic-sounding buzzing noise, like the static of a badly-tuned radio; this can build to something akin to an unnatural shriek.

Besides the vocalizations, he's also capable of something referred to in-universe as "silk touch"-- meaning he's capable of carving out strangely exact blocks of earth, sand, or even stone without damaging them, and they keep their shape even when he sets them back down. He can also handle very delicate and fragile items without harming them, and is capable of putting holes in glass or carving out whole panes without shattering it. This doesn't seem to just be an ability of his, but also a kind of urge-- whenever he's anxious, he has a tendency to pick up a block of dirt and carry it with him, shifting it between his hands idly. It seems to calm him down. It's implied to be something of an instinctual thing for him.

There's also a high likelyhood that he's capable of short-range teleportation, although he hasn't yet been able to deliberately do it on his own. Still, the capability is there and naturally within him.

But, most importantly, there is one more thing that his Enderman blood causes: he does not like eye contact, and will actively avoid it if at all possible. This is due to the fact that making eye contact with a full Enderman immediately causes them to violently attack, for unknown reasons; in Ranboo, while the effect is somewhat diluted due to his mixed genetics, it still causes him to feel extremely uncomfortable and irate, and continued eye contact-- or being stared at by too many people at once-- can even cause him to lose his temper fully and lash out. Though he hasn't yet become violent due to this, the potential is definitely there, particularly if he's already in a great amount of mental or physical distress.

HUGGING: Feel free! He's actually pretty physically affectionate when he likes someone.

KISSING: Nothing but cheek or forehead kisses unless you're his husband, thank you very much.

SMUT: Nope. That is a hard no. How young he is aside, his creator and original player has expressed that he does not want nsfw content produced involving this character, and I intend to honor that.

VIOLENCE: Allowed and encouraged. I love subjecting this poor sweet kid to awful shit just as much as canon does.
